IIOP ePortfolio Review Process Update and upcoming IIOP Training Programmes

IIOP ePortfolio Review Process Update:
The IIOP will contact pharmacists who have been selected for inclusion in the ePortfolio Review for 2017/2018 in early October. The initial communication will be by letter. Following this all communication relating to this process will be through email only. Pharmacists selected for ePortfolio Review must ensure that the email address that they have listed on their IIOP profile is one which they regularly access. The IIOP can be contacted by email (support@iiop.ie) or phone (01-4025112) for further information or support.

IIOP Training Programmes:
The IIOP are holding a number of face-to-face training programmes this autumn:

Supporting Mental Health in Pharmacy Practice Workshops: A combination of face-to-face and webinars are available for pharmacists to attend in the Autumn. In order to register for this workshop pharmacists must complete module 1-4 of the online training programme at which point they will be provided with an access key to register for the workshops. The dates and registration information are found on the home page of the online training programme.
Superintendent Pharmacist Training Programme: Two separate dates are available for this two day workshop. This training programme was last held in 2015 so it provides an opportunity for pharmacists who are new to the role of superintendent pharmacist, or who wish to learn more about the role to upskill in this area.
Quality Improvement in the Supply of High Risk Medicines Training Programme: This one day workshop is scheduled to take place in Cork and Dublin this Autumn. This course is intended for pharmacists who have completed the on-line programme "Managing Quality in Pharmacy Practice" and who wish to apply principles of quality management to the prescription/supply/administration/use of high risk medicines.

Information for booking all of the above training programmes is available through the Courses & Events section of the IIOP website.
